Software support for QHY streaming mode - posted in Experienced Deep Sky Imaging: QHY cameras (especially 410C, 128C, 367C) have large buffers so they support taking a frame almost immediately. In this streaming mode the overhead per photo is very low - about 10 milliseconds, or 1/100 sec. Essentially, the QHY cameras are acting like video cameras, but with full resolution and quality.
Page 34 of 34 - ZWO ASI 294 MM PRO: First impressions and test images. posted in Experienced Deep Sky Imaging: I dont see any amp-glow in my final stacked images. I use 1.25in filters. I have noticed a little more vignette than I recall with the 1600. The 294 has 50% more QE in the middle spectrum and about 60% more QE around the Ha wavelength. That is what sold me. 5/31/2020: Nebulosity 4.4.2 - Beta code for universal QHY driver - 4/14/20: Catalina install help - 2/18/20: Nebulosity 4.4.1 (main download page) - GUI fix on Windows and ZWO update on Mac. Total novice in Astro photography so with a lot of help and advice from the lads at First Light Optics I chose this camera to have a play. I followed the ZWO instructions to download the driver first, then plugged the camera into my laptop and it all connected up. As this camera has a fisheye lens attached, it showed images straightaway, no.
